Time for some more good reads for kiddos! Cat books? Of course cat books!! Sam has had a fondness for cat books since he was a babe. Anything cat, anything dino. He’s totally our kid! Anywhooo, when I went to write this post, I realized just how many cat books we have. I pulled the ones out we read the most or were obsessed with in days past.
So here goes, in no particular order:
- I Am a Kitten by Ole Risom {simple for toddlers or early readers, and absolutely captures kittens}
- How Do Dinosaurs Love Their Cats by Jane Yolen {Dinos & cats in one book! Need I say more?}
- Little Critter: What a Good Kitty by Mercer Mayer
- The Berenstain Bears’ New Kitten by Stan & Jan Berenstain {Love us some Berenstain Bears}
- The Tiny, Tawny Kitten by Barbara Hazen {so, so precious and one from my own childhood}
- Cats Know Best by Colin Eisler {another from my childhood, my mom & I were in love with Lesley Anne Ivory’s cat illustrations}
- Doctor Meow’s Big Emergency by Sam Lloyd {we read this to the point of driving me crazy when he was little}
- Nuptse and Lhotse Go To the Rockies by Jocey Asnong {local author featuring the national parks & attractions close to home}
