With my two spring markets done & hubby fully absorbed in work for the growing season, Sam & I have been thrown into a new schedule, new routines, and new chaos. It will all change again in a couple of weeks, when he finishes preschool. The family & work life balance is a constant struggle. You “win” at it some days, and other days, not so much.
Please welcome my newest friend, the Unicorn Dreamcatcher! She’s almost too cute, isn’t she?! I fell in love with this dreamy fabric on Spoonflower and just knew it would make the best Dreamcatchers for a little girl’s room. And I adore all the pastel colours in the design!
They’re HERE! I welcomed these Dino Dreamcatchers to the shop last week! Pretty excited to have T-Rex and his friends join the new line of Dreamcatchers, perfect for kid’s room decor. Kind of easy to tell who my inspiration for these were. Our Sammy is still a huge dino fan and an eager little paleontologist. He already has his very own Dino Dreamcatcher hanging above his bed.
Another new line of Dreamcatchers is now available in the shop! There are three Terrarium Dreamcatcher designs to choose from. These will look wonderful, not just hanging in your baby’s room, but in your kids room {hey, a plant they can’t knock over} or in a front entryway {no special sunlight required}. I’m diving in good & early with my holiday gift guides this year. I’ve already started quite a bit of my Christmas shopping online from local and Canadian shops, so that I don’t have to worry about things getting delivered in time for gift giving. I also wanted to share some of my ideas with you now, so that you have a chance to work in a few local, handmade goodies into your Christmas shopping list {or even your personal wish list}.
Only ONE more sleep until the big market!! I’ve been so busy making, making, making for it, that I’ve barely had time to pop on here. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you might be getting sick of hearing & seeing all the stuff I’ve made for the show. I’ll be bringing along close to 100 small Love Catchers, 20 large Love Catchers, along with a selection of upcycled & shabby chic accessories.
There’s been a crazy amount of response to the show. We’re expecting anywhere from 5,000-10,000 folks in a single day!! You’re going to be running us off our feet! For the first 125 lucky folks through the door, there are some amazing swag bags with contributions from the vendors & sponsors (including copies of Uppercase Magazine). I provided 50 adorable button magnets.
The first 10 customers who make a purchase at my table, will receive a 10% coupon for future purchases! So come down to the show early. Also, check out the directions for taking public transit, since parking might be an issue with that many people. I’m lucky enough to have my sis-in-law waking before the sun to pick me up & drive me down to the show.
